Year 9 Impact Drama Peformance
On the 4th February Year 9 students enjoyed a drama performance with the theme of "Opt into learning".
The show was fast-paced and fun, informative and motivating. The show highlighted:
The different options available within 14-19 curriculum (including Diplomas, Apprenticeships, BTECS, GCSEs ) and the parity between these qualifications.
The importance of recognising that their preferred way of learning can lead them to make an informed choice
That there are different progression routes to Level 4
The importance of a broad based education
The role of Connexions Personal Adviser within the school in giving them information, advice, guidance and support when making choices
